  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Thickening Agents
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Crust
  • 1 pre-made pie crust
Fats
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted Use for brushing the crust.
Egg Wash
  • 1 egg beaten For brushing on top of the crust.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the blueberries, sugar, cornstarch, and lemon juice. Mix well to create the filling.
  2. Roll out the pie crust and cut it to fit your air fryer basket.
  3. Spoon the blueberry mixture into the center of the pie crust.
  4. Fold the crust over to form a pie shape, sealing the edges tightly.
  5. Brush the top with melted butter and apply the egg wash for a golden finish.
  6. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
Cooking
  1. Place the pie in the air fryer basket and cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  2. Let it cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your warm blueberry pie!

Notes

Be careful not to overfill the pie crust to prevent spilling. Adjust cooking time based on your air fryer model. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
