Preparation
  1. Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Drain and rinse chickpeas thoroughly. Spread on paper towels and pat dry to remove moisture.
Cooking
  1. In a mixing bowl, toss chickpeas with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  2. Place chickpeas in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 15-18 minutes, shaking or stirring every 5 minutes to ensure even crisping.
  3. Let chickpeas cool for 5 minutes to crisp up further. Adjust salt if needed and enjoy as a snack or salad topping.
