  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
For the Frosting
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup almond extract

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the almond flour, all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Let the cake cool completely.
Frosting and Serving
  1. For the frosting, whip the heavy cream to soft peaks, then slowly add the powdered sugar and almond extract until stiff peaks form.
