  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet skin-side down. Cook until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes, then flip them over.
  4. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Cooking
  1. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic; sauté until softened.
  2. Add chicken broth, rosemary, and thyme. Bring to a simmer.
  3. Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, skin-side up, and spoon the gravy over them.
  4. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Stir in the butter to thicken the gravy before serving.

Notes

Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F for safe consumption. Allow the chicken to rest for better juices.
