Method
Cooking the Pasta
- In a large pot, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Cooking the Chicken
- In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the chicken, season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, and cook until no longer pink, about 7-10 minutes.
- Remove the chicken and slice it into bite-sized pieces.
Making the Sauce
- In the same pot, add the ranch dressing, heavy cream, and chicken broth. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
- Add the cooked pasta and chicken back into the pot. Stir well until everything is coated in the sauce.
- Adjust seasoning to taste. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Cook pasta al dente to maintain a pleasant texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove with a splash of chicken broth to loosen the sauce.
