Preparation
- Measure out 6 cups of Rice Chex cereal and place it in a large mixing bowl.
- Combine 1 cup of white chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon of cherry extract in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until melted and smooth.
- Pour the melted white chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex cereal and gently fold to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle 1 cup of powdered sugar over the coated cereal and toss gently to ensure every piece is coated.
- Spread the mixture on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let it cool for about 30 minutes.
- If using, add 1/2 cup of sprinkles and toss gently.
- Transfer to a serving bowl or package into individual bags for sharing.
Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Suggestions for serving include pairing with fresh fruit or using as a topping for ice cream.
