Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, soften the Cloud 9 frozen yogurt until it’s easily spreadable but not melting.
- Lay half of the sponge finger biscuits in a 9x9 inch dish in a single layer.
- Spread half of the cherry jam evenly over the sponge biscuits.
- Drizzle half of the Kirsch or liqueur over the jam.
- Spoon half of the softened yogurt over the jam, smoothing it out evenly.
- Repeat the processes with the remaining sponge biscuits, jam, liqueur, and yogurt.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Before serving, sprinkle cocoa or chocolate shavings on top and garnish with cherries.
Notes
Serve with a dollop of whipped cream, pair with coffee for contrast, or top with fresh mint leaves for added flavor. Store leftovers covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.
