Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup Sugar (granulated or brown)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Butter (melted)
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Mix-ins and Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon Sea salt flakes (sprinkled on top)
  • to taste none Powdered sugar for dusting

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until the mixture is smooth.
Mixing the Batter
  1. Gradually incorporate the flour, cocoa powder, and salt into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  2. Fold in the chopped nuts and chocolate chips, ensuring an even distribution.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  2. Sprinkle sea salt flakes on top for an added crunch and flavor.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Notes

Don't overmix the batter. For extra fudginess, slightly underbake the brownies. Allow brownies to cool completely before cutting. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
