Ingredients

  • 1 lb Smoky kielbasa Use pre-cooked kielbasa.
Veggies
  • 2 cups Potatoes, cut into chunks Parboil until tender.
Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted This will be mixed with garlic and herbs.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Adjust for personal taste.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped For a fresh flavor.
Spices
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
Miscellaneous
  • 4 pieces Skewers Use soaked wooden skewers or metal.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. Cut the potatoes into chunks and parboil them until they are tender.
  3. In a bowl, mix melted butter with minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper to make cowboy butter.
  4. Thread the kielbasa and parboiled potatoes onto skewers.
Cooking
  1. Brush the skewers with the cowboy butter.
  2. Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the kielbasa is heated through and has grill marks.
Serving
  1. Serve immediately with extra cowboy butter for dipping.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the potatoes when parboiling; they should be just tender. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to three days and reheat on the grill or in the oven for best results.
