Ingredients

Protein
  • 4 pieces bone-in pork chops
Fats
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
Aromatics
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
Sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream For a dairy-free option, substitute with coconut cream.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Garnish
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Method

Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  3. Add pork chops to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove pork chops and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and garlic powder, stirring to combine.
  7. Let the sauce simmer for a couple of minutes until it thickens slightly.
  8. Return pork chops to the skillet and coat them in the creamy garlic sauce.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

Ensure the pork chops are at room temperature before cooking for even cooking. Don’t rush the browning process; a good sear adds flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container; they can be enjoyed within 3 days.
