Preparation
- In a medium bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, chopped imitation crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt until well combined and creamy.
Assembly
- Lay out one wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of filling into the center. Dip your finger in water and moisten the edges of the wrapper. Fold the wrapper into a triangle, pressing edges firmly to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling. Keep the assembled rangoons covered with a damp towel to prevent drying.
Cooking
- Set your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and let it preheat for about 3 minutes.
- Arrange the rangoons in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch. Air fry for 4-5 minutes, then carefully flip and cook another 4-5 minutes until golden and crispy.
Serving
- Plate the rangoons and serve hot with a side of sweet chili sauce for dipping.
