  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil You can substitute with melted butter if desired.
  • 1 Juice Juice of 1 lemon Fresh is best for flavor.
  • 1 Zest Zest of 1 lemon Adds aromatic intensity.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Use fresh garlic for maximum flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano Italian seasoning can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon Dried thyme Fresh thyme can also work well.
  • To taste Salt and pepper Season according to preference.
  • As needed Fresh parsley for garnish Chopped for serving.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the fish fillets in a baking dish and pour the lemon herb mixture over the top.
Cooking
  1. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  2. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your healthy meal!

Notes

Make sure not to overbake the fish to keep it moist and tender. For added zest, consider including lemon slices on top of the fish while baking. Let the fish marinate for a few minutes before placing it in the oven for maximum flavor. Consider serving with a side of sautéed vegetables or a light salad to complement the dish. If you're a garlic lover, feel free to add more minced garlic into the marinade.
