  • 1 tsp Baking powder Helps brownies rise.
  • 1/2 tsp Salt Enhances sweetness.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the pumpkin, almond flour, cocoa powder, honey or maple syrup, melted coconut oil, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Stir in the baking powder and salt.
  4. If using, fold in the dark chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
