Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced chicken breast and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 more minute until fragrant.
  4. Add mixed vegetables and cook until they are tender, around 4-5 minutes.
  5. Mix honey, soy sauce, and cornstarch (if using) in a bowl until combined.
  6. Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables.
  7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring until everything is well coated.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Serve the stir fry over cooked rice or noodles.

Notes

Ensure the chicken is sliced thinly for uniform cooking. Use fresh garlic for the best flavor; avoid pre-minced varieties. Customize the mixed vegetables based on personal preference or seasonal availability. If you want a thicker sauce, allow it to simmer for a few extra minutes. Consider marinating the cut chicken in soy sauce for extra depth of flavor. Always have all ingredients ready prior to cooking as the process moves quickly.
