  • to taste teaspoon Pepper Adds a gentle kick.
  • for garnish sprigs Fresh parsley Can substitute with basil or cilantro if desired.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
Baking
  1. Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the lemon garlic mixture over them, ensuring an even coating.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
  3. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Allow the chicken to marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours before baking for more flavor. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; the internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C). Turn the chicken halfway through baking for even browning. Adding red pepper flakes to the marinade can enhance heat. Serve with a squeeze of fresh lemon for extra zing. Avoid overcrowding the baking dish, and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after baking.
