Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb Beef chunks Choose high-quality cuts for better flavor.
  • 8 oz Penne pasta Other pasta shapes can be used, but cooking time may vary.
  • 1 cup Honey BBQ sauce You can use store-bought or homemade sauce.
  • 2 cups Beef broth Low-sodium options are great for controlling salt levels.
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil For sautéing the beef.
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder Fresh minced garlic can also be used for more flavor.
  • To taste Salt and pepper Adjust according to preference.
  • Optional Chopped parsley For garnish.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the beef chunks with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add them to the skillet and brown on all sides.
  3. Once the beef is browned, add the penne pasta, beef broth, and honey BBQ sauce to the skillet.
  4. Stir to combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and cover.
  5. Cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and the beef is cooked through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Use a heavy-bottomed skillet to prevent scorching while cooking. Let the beef marinate in the seasoning for at least 30 minutes for enhanced flavor. Stir the pasta occasionally to prevent sticking. Adjust the sweetness of the dish by varying the amount of honey BBQ sauce used.
