Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  2. Create a small indentation in the center of each cookie and fill it with caramel sauce.
  3. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are set.
