Rice/Grains
  • 8 pieces flour tortillas
Veggies
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • 1 cup sliced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup pickles
Cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
Spices

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  3. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add sliced onions and cook until caramelized.
Assembly
  1. On a tortilla, layer cooked beef, onions, cheese, tomatoes, and pickles.
  2. Drizzle ketchup and mustard over the filling.
  3. Place another tortilla on top.
Cooking
  1. Cook the quesadilla in the skillet for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden and crisp.
  2. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  3. Cut into wedges and serve hot.
