Ingredients

For the Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter version.
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated cheese works best.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Use unsalted butter for better control over saltiness.
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced Fresh garlic enhances the flavor significantly.
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning Adjust to taste if you prefer more heat.
  • Salt and pepper Season according to preference.
Pasta
  • 8 ounces Fettuccine pasta Can substitute with other pasta types if desired.

Method

Cooking
  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  5. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Cajun seasoning, allowing it to combine thoroughly.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Toss the cooked fettuccine in the sauce, ensuring it’s well coated, and serve immediately.

Notes

For perfect results, use freshly grated Parmesan cheese and sauté the garlic until fragrant. Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning based on your spice tolerance. Avoid adding the cheese too quickly to prevent clumping.
