Ingredients

Main Ingredient
  • 4 cups Watermelon (seedless, diced) Use ripe watermelon for best sweetness.
Herbs
  • ¼ cup Fresh mint leaves Topped with additional fresh mint for serving.
Sweetener
  • ½ cup Sugar Can use honey or agave syrup as a substitute for sweetness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Cut the watermelon into chunks and remove any seeds.
  2. Blend the watermelon in a food processor until smooth.
  3. Add fresh mint leaves and sugar to the watermelon puree and blend again until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a container and freeze for about 4-5 hours, or until solid.
Serving
  1. Before serving, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly, then scoop into bowls and enjoy!

Notes

Ensure the mixture is smooth before freezing for a creamy texture. Store leftovers in an airtight container to prevent ice crystals. Let sorbet soften only slightly before serving for easier scooping.
